اللّهُمّ لا تَخْذُلْنِي فِيهِ لِتَعَرّضِ مَعْصِيَتِكَ، وَلا تَضْرِبْنِي بِسِيَاطِ نَقِمَتِكَ، وَزَحْزِحْنِي فِيهِ مِنْ مُوجِبَاتِ سَخَطِكَ، بِمَنّكَ وَأَيَادِيكَ يَا مُنْتَهَى رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِينَ.
(allahumma la takhdhulny fihi lita`arrdi ma`siyatika wa la tadribny bisiati naqimatika wa zahzihny fihi min mujibati sakhatika bimannika wa aiadika ya muntaha raghbati alrraghibina.)
urdu tarjuma: Aye Allah Mujhe Is Mahine Mere Gunahon ki Wajah Se Zaleel Na Kar, Aur Mujhe Apne Azaab Ke Taziyane Na Laga, Mujhe Apne Lutf O Karam Ke Sadqe Me Apne Gussey Ka Sabab Banney Wali Cheezon Se Door Rakh, Aye (Kamaal Aur Bulandi Ke) Shouq Walon Ki Manzil.
English : O Allah: on this day, (please) do not disappoint me by allowing me expose myself to acts of disobedience to You,And do not beat me with the whips of Your punishment,And (please) take me out on this day from the acts that bring about Your ire,Out of Your favoring and bounties; O the ultimate goal of the desires of the desirers.
