Zakaat is one of the fundamental pillars of Islam, and the Quran emphasizes its importance multiple times. Here are some key Quranic verses (Ayat) about Zakaat:

1. Obligation of Zakaat

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:110)

“And establish prayer and give Zakaat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.”

2. Who Should Give Zakaat

Surah At-Tawbah (9:103)

“Take [O Prophet] from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah’s blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.”

3. Who is Eligible to Receive Zakaat

Surah At-Tawbah (9:60)

“Zakaat expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [Zakaat] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler – an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.”

4. Blessings of Giving Zakaat

Surah Ar-Rum (30:39)

“And whatever you give for interest to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allah. But what you give in Zakaat, desiring the countenance of Allah – those are the multipliers.”

5. Punishment for Withholding Zakaat

Surah At-Tawbah (9:34-35)

“And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah – give them tidings of a painful punishment. The Day when it will be heated in the Fire of Hell and seared with it will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], ‘This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard.’”

These verses highlight the importance of Zakaat in purifying wealth, helping the needy, and maintaining social justice in Islam. Would you like me to include these in your HTML page as well? 😊
